A simple walk-through of creating 2 different hand-made "analog" overlay effects by hand using tools such as an exacto knife, glossy photo, construction paper and a camera!
While creating effects for a music video we shot in 2022, we figured it'd be a great idea to also document the process of creating the the overlays as well. While it was the first time attempting something like this, we came to find it activity to actual be pretty fun, challenging and very creative. The perfect recipe to allow our brains to keep trying to be innovative all the while actually finishing the effect we were attempting.
